Irish fintech company Wayflyer secured a $250 million credit facility on February 18, 2026, to increase lending to small and medium-sized enterprises. The two-year agreement with ATLAS SP Partners aims to meet growing demand for flexible financing options among fast-growing businesses.
Deal Structure and Partners
The credit facility provides Wayflyer with $250 million in capital. ATLAS SP Partners, a warehouse finance and securitized products firm majority owned by Apollo funds, serves as the lender. This setup allows Wayflyer to deploy funds directly to small business owners for inventory, marketing, and other growth needs without equity dilution.
Wayflyer CEO Aidan Corbett described the deal as a vote of confidence in the company’s underwriting and performance. ATLAS Director Andrew Koepke noted the partnership’s focus on delivering financing solutions. The agreement follows Wayflyer’s milestone of surpassing $100 million in annual revenues and deploying over $6 billion in total funding to thousands of businesses worldwide.
Wayflyer Background and Operations
Founded in Dublin, Wayflyer specializes in revenue-based financing for e-commerce and small businesses often overlooked by traditional banks. The company uses data analytics to offer quick approvals, with funds available in hours after application.
Wayflyer has expanded its U.S. operations, including a hub in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a presence in New York City. This growth positions the firm to serve more American SMEs, where demand for non-dilutive capital has risen. The credit facility supports this expansion by increasing Wayflyer’s lending capacity while maintaining credit standards.
