Data Breaches in the United States

Did you know that 64% of all global data losses have occurred in the United States in the past ten months? Between 2021 and 2022 5,212 global businesses experienced confirmed data loss and a third of those occurred in the US. Some of the most devastating incidents have occurred within the finance industry with banks and insurance agencies losing their clients’ records to malware attacks.

Data breaches occur in the United States for a number of reasons, but some of the most common contributors to attacks are due to human error.
